If you want to add me please feel free, just let me know by commenting on my friend only post, otherwise I will not add you back.

I always say this, but it is hard to sum yourself up in a few words! I'll give it a shot though.

I'm pretty easy going, but I know what I like and what I don't like. I don't beat around the bush, you could say I call a spade a spade.
I often say things that other people are too scared to; some of my opinions might be controversial to some, but I am old enough and ugly enough (as they say) not to care. For example, I don't believe in animal testing in any capacity, not even for medical research - human life is not more valuable that animal life, humans do not own animals and they don't owe us anything, so what right do we have to consign lab animals to a life of cruelty and torture, just so us humans can live a bit longer?
The planet would be so relieved if humans died out; sometimes I read things about the end being nigh and humans being wi[ed out - I genuinely do not think this would be a bad thing. Call me a hippy tree hugger if you will, I care not ^_^

I know my value and I won't put up with people who don't appreciate me.
I always try to see the best in people.
I'm also grown up enough to know that If you don't like me, that's your problem and not mine.
I am Scottish, not British. I'm also European, not British. I have nothing against the rest of the UK, but when people say British they are 9 times out of 10 English, and they mean English when they say British. It's just not accurate!
I voted to stay in the EU and to come out of the UK. I got the opposite but I'm not bitter. I'm just patient!

* *some likes and dislikes * *

I love Penelope Cruz, Matt Damon, Lizzy Caplan, Star Wars...
I love to watch/listen to sports, but I can't play any.
I'm a metalhead who loves Backstreet Boys.
I love reading (Ian McEwan is my favourite writer but I also love Stephen Fry, Paolo Coelho and others)
I do NOT like poetry, haha
I love travelling, I have been lucky enough to get a chance to visit Pakistan in 2014 which was amazing; I've also been to Australia and a fair few countries on the continent. I have a long list of places I still want to go!
I enjoy learning new things, learning about different cultures etc, I love tattoos as an art but I don't have any (yet)
I want to learn Hebrew, and I do know a few words.
I feel very protective over a person's right to their religion, even though I'm not particularly religious myself. I think religion is used as an excuse and is an easy target. A comedian who bases their act on what is wrong with this or that religion is not funny; likewise Richard Dawkins' book The God Delusion was one I just couldn't get into, because yeah, maybe he thinks organised religion is stupid, but if someone is doing you no harm then back the fuck off, you know?
I am passionate about a lot of things. Can you tell yet?! Lol

Conservatives (both the UK political party and conservative people in general
Judgemental people
People who say one thing but mean another; I can't be bothered with trying to interpret, just say what you mean and mean what you say!
I can't go people with any kind of prejudice - there's just no need for it.
I also really hate coriander. I once saw an article where it was described as 'soap plus bleach, multiplied by hell' and thought that sounded about right!
Men in suits who plunge the country into despair and are celebrated, while regular working people struggle to make ends meet - I am not a fan of that. Capitalism, ultimately, is not our friend.
